We have completed the first leg of the journey with no catastrophes apart from a broken flask. We have been occupying ourselves feeding the tamest fox in the UK.

We set sail at 07:30 UTC and arrive at 12:15. We will drop our bags of at the hotel and then get straight to the shack. Hopefully it won’t take long and we’ll be qrv.

Looking forward to working all.

  1. Watching the cluster for you to surface. Nice weather for it. Good luck, Robert and Mary. M0JRB/M6KMB.

  2. Mr JRB we worked your neighbour Melvyn G8EOP who was a good signal with us, we had a good time. A report will follow………

  3. I listened on every frequency posted on the cluster with no success. Had to work for a couple of hours. On my return Mel said he had worked you no problem. He was pleased as it was his first contact with Jersey on 70MHz. I would have been very happy if I could have worked you.

Sounds as if you all had a good time. Well done for making the effort.

    73, Robert & Mary. G8BUN/M6KMB.

  4. Oh I suspect that we’ll be going back we had such a good time :)
